Wes Anderson, when I say those words you should already know what to expect for the movie. Aesthetically pleasing set, a whimsical plot, and a stacked cast of A-list stars. Can you visualize it yet? Well then enter Asteroid City. Set in 1955, the Junior Stargazers convention in a remote desert town experiences a weird weekend. There. That’s the spoiler-free synopsis. This movie was engaging and a little out of the box but again if you’ve ever seen a Wes Anderson movie, none of this should surprise you. Now, if you’re a WA novice, go in with an open mind and wait to make an opinion until you walk out. This was a fun one, not my favorite movie of all time but definitely worth watching.
