What would you do if you had to stay at school during Christmas break? Unfortunately for Angus Tully, he has to do just that. Stuck with the mean, lazy-eyed, Scrooge-McDuck-type teacher Mr. Hunham/Paul Giamatti and the lead cafeteria lady, Mary. Set in the 70s at an all-boys prep school, watch as their relationship morphs as time passes. Giamatti is fantastic in this role. Tully is played by newcomer Dominic Sessa who shows so much range. This movie feels like Dead Poets Society in a way. It’s dramatic but is all about relationships when you feel broken. And yes it takes place at a beautiful snow-covered school. This was such a great movie and I think it will be one to stand the test of time.
