If you had a mental clean slate, what would you do with it? Bella Baxter/Emma Stone is a grown woman but with the brain of a baby. As she develops she becomes curious if the outside world and is whisked away by the promise of adventure by a sleezy lawyer/Mark Ruffalo. OKAY, the critics will boo hiss but I didn’t like this movie. The main message of the movie was good but its was overpowered by nudity and a slow developing plot. That being said the set design and costumes were amazing! I would give the wardrobe alone a 5/5. Director Yorgos Lanthimos is known for his eccentric movies so I think this one is safely added to that category. In the grand scheme of movies, I don’t think this one is a must see.
