Brat Pack, when I say that what’s the first movie that pops into your head? The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, St. Elmo’s Fire? Who pops into your head? Emilio Estevez, Andrew, McCarthy, Rob Lowe, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald? All of those answers are correct. But how did that label happen and why? Andrew McCarthy decided to call up his old friends, fellow industry workers, and culture commentators to discuss the phenomenon. Despite common misconceptions, this was not a term that they all loved. McCarthy talks to Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, Emilio Estevez, Ally Sheedy, and more about their take on how it affected their careers for the better or worse. This was kind of like a group therapy session, a smidge whiny but a fun and nostalgic one. If you were a fan of any of those people or those movies, highly recommend sitting down to watch this one.
