What if you could get advice from your future self? Well, that’s exactly what Elliott got when she took shrooms on her birthday with her friends, her 39-year-old self (played by Aubrey Plaza from White Lotus and Parks and Rec) appears and they get to talking. Plaza gives her advice and warnings about her life which make everything better but also worse. Maisy Stella plays Elliott and I don’t know who she is but she’s great. Whether you went to college or not, if you’ve ever left home before this movie will get you. It’s clever and a little slow but I really enjoyed it. It’s R mainly for language and a perfect watch for a girl’s night in my opinion.
