Saturday Night Live, a weekly staple since October 11, 1975. On that fateful night, Lorne Michaels and a group of misfit comedians did the unthinkable; an hour and a half of live sketches. you follow Michaels as he runs around in the chaos. They got an incredible cast to play original cast members Chevy Chase, John Belushi, Gilda Radner, Garrett Morris, and more. It’s my understanding that director Jason Reitman interviewed enough of the people present at the debut show to get a feel for the atmosphere so the majority of the movie is close to accurate. This was pretty fun to watch, you feel right in the action and stressed for poor Lorne. If you liked SNL then or even now, you’ll enjoy this a lot.
