We all have had that one almost-friendship. You know what I’m talking about, it’s the time someone tried to be your friend but it just didn’t work out personality-wise. Enter Craig (Tim Robinson from I Think You Should Leave) who just wants to have a suburban bromance with Austin/Paul Rudd (who wouldn’t) when things don’t just get awkward but shift-in-your-seat-cover-your-eyes awkward. Watch his attempts at course correcting make everything much worse. This was an odd pick for me but we went with it anyway. I thought it was pretty funny but it’s off-the-beaten-path funny. You’ll be rooting for khaki colored outcast for just under two hours and sometimes you might be telling yourself “What am I watching.” Great pick if you’re a fan of A24 and dark comedies.
