Warning: this movie depicts a school shooting, depression, and drug use

In her first directorial debut, Grace from Secret Life of the American Teenager (Megan Park) shows how two teens could cope after a school shooting. Jenna Ortega, Maddie Ziegler (yes the Dance Moms/Sia Maddie), and one of the Randalls from This Is Us (Niles Fitch) are forever linked by being in the bathroom together during a school shooting at their high school. This is the first movie of its kind. Emotional and raw, you see how this generation of teenagers could react and be changed forever from the very real threat that is gun violence in schools. The mom from Modern Family and Shailene Woodley is in the cast as well. All of the music is by Finneas so naturally, it’s amazing. If you can handle the subject matter, I would recommend this one.
