Based on the book by Jon Krakauer, you are taken head first into a disturbing and layered crime centered around the most prominent Mormon family in Salt Lake City. The Lafferty’s seemingly has it all; a big family (all devout Mormons), many grandchildren, a solid work ethic, and a rich history. However, like most “perfect” families there are major cracks. When the wife and baby of the youngest son are killed, nobody knows where to turn for answers. Who would harm a Lafferty? All of the sons have a secret and it’s up to Andrew Garfield and the guy in the wheelchair from Twilight (Gil Birmingham) to figure it out. I won’t sugarcoat it, this show is dark but extremely interesting and if you love true crime, give this a whirl.
