Uncle Ben said it best “With great power comes great responsibility.” Well in the 1940s, Robert Oppenheimer for the love of his country, embarked on a journey that would test his morals and endurance. In the heat of WW2, the US was looking for any way to beat Germany. The solution came after the announcement that the atom could be split; a bomb has to be built. Oppenheimer was tasked with orchestrating the building of that bomb. With a runtime of three hours, I knew it would be extensive but this was such a deep dive into Oppenheimer’s career pre and post-making the A-bomb. I won’t go any further so I don’t ruin anything for anyone but I will say this wasn’t what I was expecting (that includes the HUGE cast). Definitely worth seeing in theaters for the full effect/impact.
