You never know when you’ll meet the love of your life. Ideally, it’s when you’re put together, showered, and ready for romance. In Hadley Sullivan/Portia from White Lotus/Haley Lu Richardson’s case, it was when she ran through JFK airport and missed her flight to London by four minutes. Flustered and needed to charge her phone she met Oliver Jones (Ben Hardy/the drummer Roger from Bohemian Rhapsody). I won’t disclose much else but it’s a very fate-filled movie complete with Jameela Jamil (Tahani from The Good Place) narrating and maybe showing up along the way to help. Based on the book The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, watch this quirky and light-hearted comedy I think the world is overdue for. Makes me wish I would have read the book first. There is no stress and no mess, just predictably corny lines and fun in London. If you’re looking for a nice and easy rom-com, this is a winner.
