This movie. This MOVIE. I had heard that it rivaled Empire Strikes Back in terms of an epic sequel. It lived up to the hype. Paul Atreides (Timmy C) and his mom are trying to find their place among the Freman. Still wanting to avenge his dad’s death, Paul has to decide if he wants to live peacefully or try and support their fight against the Harkonnen. In the process he falls in love with Zendaya (who wouldn’t) and that further complicates his decision. The cast includes a regal Florence Pugh, weird eyebrowless Austin Butler, and fangirling Javier Bardem. Have I convinced you to see it yet? The amount of action and visual effects keep you entertained for the whole two and a half hours. It’s pretty violent but not more than your average war movie. If after seeing the first you’re apprehensive, this one is much easier to follow. Do yourself the favor of seeing this in theaters.
