Jodie Foster is the police chief of the made-up city of Ennis, Alaska. At the start of the night season, the bodies of scientists are found frozen together in a state of fear. Instantly it’s a matter of fact over fantasy as the native people believe in the supernatural. Together she, her partner Navarro (professional boxer Kali Reis), and fellow office Prior (Finn Bennett) have to figure out what happened and how to prevent it from happening again. What I appreciate about TD is that each season is independent and you have closure at the end. Like the other seasons, the characters are flawed and nothing really makes sense until the end. All the more reason to keep watching! This wasn’t my favorite storyline of the series, but fun to watch if you like true crime and don’t get scared easily.
