Lindsay Lohan is back in her rom-com element with this Irish love story. She plays Maddie, a book editor who secretly pines for the author she worked with, Paul. Of course, the night she wants to tell him how she feels, he falls for her best friend. Fast forward to their wedding weekend in, you guessed it, Ireland, Maddie is trying to make the best of her situation when she inadvertently summons an Irish fairy godmother and wishes she was the bride. It’s very My Best Friend’s Wedding meets It’s A Wonderful Life. Is the dream grass actually as green as you think? Jane Seymour plays Lohan’s mom and Ayesha Curry plays her other best friend. Overall I thought this was cute and Lohan is great with her physical comedy. Not going to rival any classics but a fun watch.
