Warning: documentary shows scenes of emotional and medical distress
Celine Dion, a force to be reckoned with. In sort of a documentary for the fans, she takes you behind the last year of her life as she was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome, reflecting on her life, career, decline of her health, and where she goes from here. This is probably one of the most raw and personal documentaries I’ve seen about someone who is still living. There are flashbacks from some of her iconic performances to juxtapose where she is now and that alone will make you cry. While it is a solemn doc, there’s no debating that Dion is fierce and fighting for her ability to sing once again. Not enough inspiring documentaries like this out there so I highly recommend it.
