Here we go, a former marine (Aaron Pierre) takes on the corrupted police in a small town when they confiscate the bail he’s bringing for his cousin. The girl from Bridge to Terabithia (AnnaSophia Robb) is a court employee who tries to help and Miami Vice‘s Don Johnson is the crooked police chief. Don’t do it. This was listed as the top movie on Netflix so I said sure, big mistake. The entire movie feels like the middle of a movie, you come in lost and feel like you’re missing something, and then are cut off before seeing resolve. Now I’ll give it credit, the action scenes were good, and since that’s the entire movie, the Rotten Tomato score is high. For the record, I’m a fan of violent crime movies, if they’re done right. So if you’re in the mood for a violent crime movie, this is your choice!
