Netflix original romcoms, we love to hate them don’t we? But then there are the ones that are sneakily good that you have to give them the props they’re owed. This is one of them. Alex/Sofia Carson made a list of all the things she wanted to do in her life when she was 13. When her mom (Connie Britton) is dying of cancer she adds a stipulation in her will that to get her inheritance, Alex has to do the list in a year. Of course, the associate lawyer is a cutie (Kyle Allen from West Side Story) and helps her. Based on the book of the same name by Lori Nelson Spielman. I watched this out of boredom but liked it. It was funny and not completely cheesy. A good watch if you’re home for the night and in the mood for a feel-good flick!
