Once again Tom Cruise is single-handedly saving the movie theater by making a movie that’s meant for the big screen. Ethan Hunt is on his last mission to save the world from malicious AI software. This was a perfect conclusion to the franchise, with a little less than three hours of Tom Cruise running all full speed. If you haven’t seen the other movies there are plenty of flashbacks for things to make sense or you’ll just get sucked in and will love it anyways. It’s unclear if the series will continue with another person at the helm but I don’t see how they could do it without Cruise. There’s plenty of suspense for the adrenaline chasers as you watch Tom do the unthinkable on land, air, and sea. Either way, I would make an effort to see this in the theaters!
