The 1972 Olympiad, a historical event that was supposed to be known for the accomplishments of nations was brought to a standstill when a terrorist organization kidnapped and held hostage the Israeli wrestling team. The only news broadcast that was in Munich was ABC Sports. This movie takes you behind the scenes at the control room that broadcast this attack live, which had never been done. John Magaro (Past Lives, The Big Short) and Peter Sarsgaard (Garden State, Jarhead) are the main people in the control room. To get a realistic feel, the director, Tim Fehlbaum, recreated a studio with the same equipment that would have been used at the time. I liked this movie, apart from it being a historical thriller which is a personal favorite, it showed people accomplished the impossible. I wanted to watch this in theaters but missed it so I was glad it was able to stream. Very good watch if you like historical fiction in general or a thriller drama.
