Streep, Tucci, Hathaway, and Blunt. All back for the sequel we didn’t know we needed. For those under a rock, Andrea Sachs (Anne Hathaway) is a journalist who’s been tasked with saving the reputation of the magazine that was a blessing and a curse over two decades ago. Back working with the Dragon Lady herself, Miranda Prestly (Meryl Streep) and dutiful fashion director Nigel (Stanley Tucci), they do what it takes to save Runway. I didn’t know if this even needed a review, but I saw it twice in theaters, so I guess I’m a fan. If you’re a fan of the original, you’ll enjoy this one immensely. I’ve been comparing it to Freakier Friday in that it’s for fans of the original, and they do a great job. No notes, if you liked the first, see it.
