This is a heartbreaking show but in the best way. It follows a single mom navigating the welfare system along with her alcoholic ex and not-all-there mom. You will be torn down emotionally but it’s well worth it. Margaret Qualley (Once Upon A Time in Hollywood) will no doubt get some awards for this. Can’t talk too much about it without spoilers but if you can stick it out through all 10 episodes, you won’t regret it.
