When you think disco, no doubt the first thing you picture is John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever. This documentary will show that you thank Robert Stigwood for that. You can see the journey Stigwood took from managing different artists to producing different movies throughout the 1970s. As well as taken behind the scenes of just SNF and how that movie and soundtrack were made. Like many successful business people, when the curtain is pulled back you can see how flawed that person can be. Stigwood is characterized as a very successful manager and producer in the ’70s because he got his way most of the time. He’s not a villain per se but there’s a tone to the documentary that he wasn’t the easiest person to work with. Watch it and see if you agree with me!
