Carmy (Lip from Shameless), an accomplished elite chef, leaves his culinary world behind to run his family’s run-down restaurant in Chicago after his brother leaves it to him in his will. This is a high-stress and dramatic look at the inside of a kitchen run by a very stressed person. So much pressure to not mess up the restaurant that’s on the cusp of closing, you’re rooting for the kitchen as they get through challenge after challenge. Strong performances by every flawed character, definitely a watch if you love to cook and don’t mind yelling.
