We all know the classic Romeo & Juliet, two kids fall in love and tragically die. Well, what if you saw the whole thing play out from another point of view? Kinda like Lion King 1 1/2, you see the entire thing from the perspective of Rosaline. Ya know, the one that Romeo was in love with before he saw Juliet at a ball. Kaitlyn Dever (Booksmart, Unbelievable) is hilarious as the scorned and vengeful cousin. With Minnie Driver as her nurse, watch Rosaline try to take down the legendary lovers in this twist on a classic. This is a modern script but set in the traditional Verona so essentially the opposite of Leo’s Romeo+Juliet. A very clever and light-hearted comedy if you need a pick-me-up.
