After 13 years we are back in Pandora! Jake Sully and Zoe Saldana have made a nice little family but the “sky people” haven’t forgotten who it was that destroyed their mission. Knowing he and his family aren’t safe, they evacuate to one of the neighboring tribes of “water people” and try to acclimate. That’s all I’ll say because I can’t go further without spoiling something. For being a three-hour movie, it didn’t feel like it. So much was action and visually beautiful (but that was expected). I was skeptical when the release date was announced but this was worth seeing in theaters. I’m sure I’ll think of things to pick it apart later, but my first impressions were it was a great movie and should be seen.
