For the record, I haven’t wanted to see this but after getting encouraging reviews from friends I went and saw it. Rose from Get Out gets custody of her niece when her sister and her husband unexpectedly died. Instead of getting to know her, she did what any robot scientist working at a toy company does. Invent a toy to be her friend! You can see where this is going. There’s a lot of humor throughout so it’s not just scary non-stop but it’s pretty creepy. In conclusion, AI dolls should never be a thing. Can’t say I’ll be watching this one again but I’m proud of myself for actually watching it. If you don’t do scary this is pretty mild. Rumor has it there’s going to be a sequel.
