Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris

Warning: wholesome content

Based on the book by Paul Gallico, Mrs. Harris is a cleaning lady in the 1920s in London. Her life has been dull and uneventful until she gets an idea. Why not splurge on a pretty Christian Dior dress! The catch: she can only get it in Paris. Her journey to get there and try and get a dress is fabulous. It reminds me of Miss Pettigrew Lives For a Day. It’s not just dumb luck but delightful happenstance. You’ll be rooting for her the whole time. Great reminder to be kind to others.
