Based on the book of the same title by Kristin Hannah, welcome to the world of Firefly Lane. On a street on the outskirts of Seattle, WA, two neighbors, Tully and Kate become fast friends and take on a life together. Set across the span of many decades, you watch the friendship unfold from the madness of high school, hard transition to adulthood and . Izzy from Grey’s Anatomy (Katherine Heigl) and Sarah Chalke (who is best known for being on Scrubs and Rosanne) portray the early ’80s to present day Tully and Kate while the high school years are played by newcomers Ali Skovbye and Roan Curtis. This show follows the book pretty closely until the end of the first season, the second season takes creative liberty but it flows seamlessly. Overall, this is a great friendship show and an easy watch if you like human interest. You’ll probably cry a few dozen times but that just means you care!
