Colt Seavers (Ryan Gosling) is a stuntman who is called back to a movie set to find the main actor who has gone missing all while trying to win back the girl that he let go, Jody (Emily Blunt). Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca from Ted Lasso) is the movie producer and Winston Duke (M’Baku from Black Panther) plays the head of the stunt department. This movie was great. Gosling and Blunt have incredibly awkward comedic timing, you’ll be outwardly cracking up most of the time and the soundtrack mainly consisting of 80s rock is remarkable. You can tell they had a great time making this movie. Also for the cinema buffs, throughout the entire thing they’re quoting other movies and it’s really fun. Great, but violent, option for a family movie night and it’ll make you have a greater appreciate for stunt crews.
