Lindsay Lohan’s back for a pleasant holiday rom-com. Avery goes to spend the holidays with her boyfriend’s family only to find her ex, whom she hasn’t seen in years, Logan (Ian Harding/Ezra Fitz from Pretty Little Liars) there cause he’s dating the sister. In a twist they decide to team up, Logan will help Avery win over the matriarch of the family played by Kristin Chenoweth and she’ll help him with a business propel due on Christmas Eve. This movie was funny. Between the classic physical comedy of Lohan and the creative script, this is one that most people will enjoy. It’s not overly sentimental and the premise doesn’t involve “Christmas magic.” Good pick for those who want a holiday movie that isn’t overly sappy.
