It’s a limited series of heartbreaking romance and tragedy all in one. Paul Anthony Kelly (his first role ever) plays JFK Jr, Sarah Pidgeon plays Carolyn, Grace Gummer plays Caroline Kennedy, and Naomi Watts plays Jackie O. Inspired by the book Once Upon a Time: The Captivating Life of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy by Elizabeth Beller. The first season in the latest anthology series from producer Ryan Murphy, and it’s rumored the next season will be about Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. I’d be remiss if I didn’t note that this show is a dramatization and not based on fact; it has been ripped to shreds by the people depicted by this show or members of the Kennedy family, so don’t take the dialogue and events as truth. That being said, I loved it. It was well done and kept you watching until the end. Great option if you’re looking for a slower human interest story to watch!
