Always known in my heart as the woman who dated Uncle Joey, she empowered teen girls everywhere from the early 90s to today. This documentary shows the full scope of her personal history and all of the events that had an influence on her debut album Jagged Little Pill. From having success at a young age to personal struggles with body image and love, you can see how much of a talented artist she is. The legacy of JLP has lasted through the decades despite initially being hated for being “too angry.” Even if Ironic is the only song you’ve ever heard, you will enjoy this!
