If you’ve ever watched Rent, you will appreciate the origin of this movie. Jonathan Larson is a composer and screenwriter who is just trying to make it. Long before he creates Rent, he comes up with a musical based on his life. TTB is a real and awe-inspiring piece of work. Did I mention that Andrew Garfield could sing? I saw a tweet that said this was the musical theater kid equivalent of Avengers: Endgame, they weren’t lying. If you’ve seen any musical on or off broadway you will recognize someone. I fully believe (without research) that all of these renowned artists were apart of this not just because Lin Manuel Miranda directed it but it’s an ode to one of their own. Take the time to watch this, guaranteed it’ll be nominated come March.
