Episodes: 3 This wasn't as juicy as the trailer leads on but it is still great for how ridiculous it is. As far as cults go, this one isn't too out there. There aren't sacrifices or blood oaths, but there is an egotistical dictator whose influence leads to a death. As a Christian, it will … Continue reading The Way Down: God, Greed, and the Cult of Gwen Shamblin

Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse
I'm unapologetically a lover of Michael B Jordan. So this is biased no doubt about it. Overall, I did enjoy this movie. There's betrayal, government coverups, and assassins. It's not going to win an Oscar and it's alittle too much at some parts, but overall, pretty entertaining for a Friday night action movie. Rating: 1.5/5
Untold
This is a multi-episode expose to different events/people of the sporting world and its past. Needless to say, it was phenomenal. The episodes include Caitlin Jenner's decathlon, Christy Martin's boxing career, and the infamous squabble between the Pacers and Pistons in 2004. All episodes are well done and include all of the key players in … Continue reading Untold
Atypical
The series officially wrapped and here are my thoughts. Wonderful. Any show that is based on the narrative of an autistic person will be unique. I think the show does a good job of addressing certain scenarios (some highly exaggerated) that any family that is a little different might come across. Parts and scenes make … Continue reading Atypical
Rita Moreno: Just a Girl Who Decided to Go for It
If you have no idea who Rita Moreno is, watch this documentary. If you know you Rita Moreno is, watch this documentary. Based on my love of West Side Story, I started this expecting to enjoy this. And I did! It's nice once again to see a documentary do a good job of showcasing an … Continue reading Rita Moreno: Just a Girl Who Decided to Go for It
Nine Perfect Strangers
Episodes: 8 The best advice would be to start watching this show without knowing anything about it. It's an all-star cast going to a mysterious and luxurious spiritual retreat, complete with a crime. Do I have you intrigued? You can also see Nicole Kidman embrace her inner guru and (kinda terrible) Russian accent. Your favorite … Continue reading Nine Perfect Strangers
What Happened to Brittany Murphy?
Warning: This episode involves violence, death, and drug use. Didn't know if I was going to make it through but this two parter was very good. It focuses on her whole career with jumping to after her death and the suspicious things her husband did. Since she died so long ago a lot of the … Continue reading What Happened to Brittany Murphy?
Maid
Warning: This show depicts domestic abuse Episodes: 10 This is a heartbreaking show but in the best way. It follows a single mom navigating the welfare system along with her alcoholic ex and not-all-there mom. You will be torn down emotionally but it's well worth it. Margaret Qualley (Once Upon A Time in Hollywood) will … Continue reading Maid
No Time To Die
Finally, the last Daniel Craig Bond film has been released. I have to applaud Paramount for sticking to their guns and not releasing it during lockdown on a streaming site. It would take away from the full experience. Without disclosing spoilers, this was a witty and resolved last movie for Craig. Still the same handsome … Continue reading No Time To Die
