I Love Lucy, perhaps you've heard of it. Despite the entire show being in black and white, you get to see the lives of Desi Arnaz (Javier Bardem) and Lucille Ball (Nicole Kidman) in full color. The movie shows the complicated relationship of Arnaz and Ball and takes you behind the scenes of the making … Continue reading Being The Ricardos

Love Hard
It’s the season for Netflix original Christmas movies. First up is Love Hard featuring Nina Dobrev and Jimmy O. Yang. Dobrev is a writer that falls in love with a boy online and surprises him for Christmas only to find out she’s been catfished. There’s many predictable plot points and a couple of so-cringey-you-have-to-leave-the room … Continue reading Love Hard
Red Notice
Forget The Rock & Kevin Hart, The Rock & Ryan Reynolds is the comedic combination that we've needed. In this modern-day Nation Treasure-esque film, Reynolds, a world-class art thief, teams up with Johnson, an FBI profiler, to stop Gal Gadot from stealing precious ancient Egyptian Faberge eggs. Quite far-fetched, I know. It's a little strange … Continue reading Red Notice
Only Murders In The Building
Finally the Father of the Bride reunion we've been waiting for, George Banks and Franc solving crimes, oh and with Selena Gomez. It's witty and funny and just suspenseful enough to make you want to keep watching. The premise is pretty realistic, a murder and three true-crime podcast enthusiasts decide to solve it while making … Continue reading Only Murders In The Building
Free Guy
First of all, I love Ryan Reynolds, but he was upstaged by Jodie Comer. I knew going in it was about a game character that discovers he's in a video game. I didn't realize that it was going to unexpectedly be a rom-com! Typical Reynolds style, there's humor and snark at every corner but also … Continue reading Free Guy
He’s All That
I'll keep this brief. It's not the original. I watched it cause I sincerely had nothing better to do. It does have Tanner Buchanan from Cobra Kai so I watched the whole thing. As Netflix's original teen movies go, it wasn't the worst but it was pretty lame. Bless Rachel Lee Cook for blessing us … Continue reading He’s All That
Atypical
The series officially wrapped and here are my thoughts. Wonderful. Any show that is based on the narrative of an autistic person will be unique. I think the show does a good job of addressing certain scenarios (some highly exaggerated) that any family that is a little different might come across. Parts and scenes make … Continue reading Atypical
